It is hard to know where to begin when looking back on 2020. It’s been such a challenging year and yet, when we reflect on all the animals who have come through the SPCA’s doors in need of a healthy meal, a warm bed, veterinary care and TLC, we are inspired by the generosity of our SPCA friends and family.

But, our work is far from over.  Your help is critical if we want to get off on the right foot (or paw!) in 2021.

With the expected surge in pandemic cases after the holidays, we anticipate even more dogs and cats will be in need of our support. Please consider a tax-deductible gift by December 31st to the SPCA of Westchester. Contributions at every level are crucial in helping so many animals on their journeys to forever homes.

  • $25 helps prepare a dog or cat for adoption with vaccines and a microchip to ensure they stay healthy and safe.

  • $50 will cover the cost of nourishing food and enrichment toys for one animal in our care for an entire month. Pictured here is our sweet rescue, Summer, cozied up with her favorite teddy bear toy. It provides her comfort while she awaits adoption.

  • $100 enables us to rescue one at-risk dog or puppy from a high-kill shelter and transport them to the safety of the SPCA where loving new homes await them.

  • $250 or more will help the SPCA to provide life-saving surgery for an injured cat or dog who has been abused, abandoned or neglected and get them back on the road to recovery.

Our hearts are filled with hope and gratitude for all that you have made possible for the SPCA. Even with the challenges of this year, you were still there to help the dogs and cats. We are so grateful to be surrounded by such a caring and generous community of animal lovers.

Thank you in advance for your support this holiday season and wishing you and your loved ones, two and four-legged, a happy and healthy New Year!
