A special message to our SPCA friends,
I hope you are staying healthy during these difficult times. Like so many others, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic in order to keep our staff, visitors, volunteers and the animals safe. With the recently declared state of emergency and the rapidly spreading virus here in Westchester County, our Board has made the difficult decision to close our shelter and clinic for the next two weeks in order to limit exposure and keep everyone safe and sound.
Rest assured our staff will be present daily to take care of the animals, exercise them and provide them with loving care and enrichment. Our virtual adoption center at spca914.org will remain open and we encourage interested adopters to send inquiries to shelter@spca914.org. We hope you understand as we try diligently to protect the health and well-being of our visitors and friends as we navigate these uncharted waters together.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you updated as changes happen. Please email me with any questions or concerns.
