SPCA to take part in National Adoption Day

The SPCA is thrilled to announce that it is once again teaming up with NBC 4 New York/NBC Universal for their annual Clear the Shelters Adoption Event!
During this special one day extravaganza, many of our animals will have waived or reduced adoption fees. Please note, exclusions apply. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Potential adopters are encouraged to submit an application in advance to help jumpstart the approval process. Walk-ins are welcome that day as well. Be sure to read all of our adoption rules and procedures here.

Pre-approval does not guarantee a specific animal and adoptions are on a first come first serve basis. All members of the family must be present, including dogs to facilitate meet and greets with other dogs. Animals adopted through the SPCA of Westchester are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations and are microchipped.

The SPCA has more than 100 wonderful dogs, cats, puppies and kittens all looking for loving new homes. Our animal care campus is located at 590 North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
We hope to see you on the 17th!
