Learn how you can help the SPCA animals during the Covid-19 Crisis
During these difficult times we want you to know that we are still here for our community and for our animals.
Although much has come to a screeching halt around us, caring for our dogs and cats and rescuing others who have nowhere else to turn never stops. Our biggest need right now is financial assistance as donations have drastically declined. Giving a one-time gift or signing up to become a monthly sponsor are two ways you can provide critical support to help us care for the animals who depend on us every day.
Another great way to help is by purchasing and donating items from our Amazon Wish List. At this time unfortunately we are unable to accept in-kind donations from the public but hope we’ll be able to resume shortly!
We are incredibly grateful to the dozens of individuals and families who have welcomed an SPCA animal into their home to foster. If you’re currently fostering be sure to share photos and tag us on social media and hashtag #spcawestchester. Fortunately, we have found homes for all of our eligible foster animals.
We are still allowing adoptions by appointment only. If you’re interested in meeting one of our adoptable animals, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Our veterinary clinic is starting to schedule appointments again as well so please call (914) 941-2896 ext. 10 if you are in need of services.
On behalf of us all, especially our dogs and cats, we greatly appreciate your kindness. Please stay healthy and safe during these challenging times.
